Cabinet Office Minister, Francis Maude MP and Peter Heaton-Jones (Parliamentary Conservative Party candidate for the Devon North constituency visited the railway at Woody Bay as part of his tour of various social enterprise projects in the region.. His guide was L&BR Trustee and Financial Director Ian Cowling

Winning tickets were pulled from the well-filled tub by Sam Pointon – the NRM’s Director of Fun - who was on holiday with his family.

Carriages mothballed until February!

Following the end of the 2014 services on 1st January, our restored L&BR carriages don their winter coats.

Here are some views taken by Dave Tooke of the carriages being fitted with their purpose-made, weather-proof covers designed specifically to protect them from the Exmoor weather. It was vital that the covers went on when the weather was just right - dry and not too windy.
