A very cold day with wintry showers, so everyone was in the shed working on the plant trailer.
1. Everyone busy painting the plant trailer: black on the chassis frame and after cleaning, grey on top.
2. The nearly-completed trailer takes shape. This will be used to transport the excavator and other machinery between the L&B sites. The installed rails are there for when such items as carriage bogies need to be moved around during their refurbishment programme.

3. After lunch, another coat of grey was painted onto the plated deck of the plant trailer. AXE is behind, receiving some winter maintenance.
4. Cabinet Office Minister, Francis Maude MP (left), and Peter Heaton-Jones (Parliamentary Conservative Party candidate for the Devon North constituency) were with L&BR Trustee and Financial Director Ian Cowling (right), who was showing them around the railway at Woody Bay as part of their tour of various social enterprise projects in the region. The Minister described the railway as "Something very special". To read more about the visit, click HERE. Behind the group is Bagnall 4-4-0T CHARLES WYTOCK.
