Trevor Garnham uploaded this recent video for all to enjoy.
"Hi everyone. Here is a short video of ISAAC with carriage No. 17 on half-term duties. Filmed on Saturday 21st February 2015. As I was using my SLR camera quality is not as good as when I use the usual video camera. Still a nice bit of history of a one-coach train on the L& BR."
We regret to announce that the Reverend Harold Tucker died aged 93 on 11th February
The Reverend Tucker was one of the last persons to have ridden on the footplate of an L&B loco back in the 1930's. A frequent visitor to our galas where he was able to ride on LYD. Another link with the past is now severed
A "Service of Thanksgiving for his life" is to be held at noon Friday the 27th February at Poundstock Church near Bude. Call 01288 355310 for more details
Thanks to some very generous people and to one singular contributor in particular, our General Manager Martyn Budd has now purchased the Tyer's Tablet Instrument for use on the reinstated L&B.
A marvellous response - our grateful thanks to all of you who are helping to make this dream become a reality.
