Somerset Area Support Group Meeting 2nd December

The next meeting will be on Monday 2nd December at the EMI Sports and Social Club Priory Road Wells at 7.30pm.

The meeting is to be a Christmas get together with nibbles and refreshments. There will be the usual updates on progress and planning for the future.

Chelfham Update: Autumn 2013

There has been lots of activity to report at Chelfham this autumn. Several members of the Heywood Society visited while on an organised L&B weekend, plus many others including local people have came to view the progress recently.  

Remember also, that the L&BR's second original station at Chelfham is open for all visitors every Sunday from 10am this winter.

Caffyns trackbed fencing work.

In advance of this weekend's working parties, the usual Thursday Gang volunteers - supplemented by a couple of Trust members down in Devon for the weekend - began the initial work on the re-fencing project adjacent to the L&B trackbed at Caffyns.
