With the prospect of a complete season of operations using ISAAC and the heritage carriages and with the commensurate updates to the L&B Rule Book, a training weekend was organised for all the L&B staff.
The weekend was judged a success and another is planned for those members of staff who were unable to attend this one.
We thought that we had escaped damage from the big storm which passed through the West Country last Thursday and Friday. Certainly Woody Bay Station did not suffer in any way.
There was some snow about on Exmoor during the night, which made driving conditions difficult for the volunteers who came early. This did not deter most people and a good attendance was recorded as usual.
