After the very busy and successful Easter weekend at Woody Bay and the working parties at Rowley Cross/ Holwell Wood trackbed and also at Chelfham, it was more laid back work today for the volunteers of the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway.
Following closely on the heels of the Heritage Coaches 7 and 17, Baguley No. 2393 formerly known as Leichhardt - now "Pilton" - is now at Woody Bay awaiting final fitting out before entering service.
Now anyone can drive AXE and haul the Heritage Coaches...
L&B supporter Ben Vincer has developed a computer simulation of the L&B, which runs on Microsoft Train Simulator, replicating the modern (and near-future) -image L&B.
