In February, Trust Chairman Peter Miles, L&B General Manager Martyn Budd and L&B CME Chris Carder visited Statfold Barn Railway to view progress. They were met by Statfold owner Graham Lee, who gave them a guided tour of the works. They were all astonished at the progress made on the restoration of the loco. Now fitted with a Cummins turbo diesel engine, it is an extremely powerful loco.
Graham Lee's continuing generosity and assistance is much appreciated.
