Autumn Steam Gala Weekend 2015

FREE PARK & RIDE From Caffyns Halt signposted on the A39

First train at 10:00am - Last train 5-00pm - both days

Passenger trains will be running every 30 minutes,

Demonstration goods trains will be running in between

Four locos in steam

Some trains will be double-headed.

Travel as many times as you wish and on any train and in any of our four heritage carriage. Please note 1st Class carries a premium and is limited there being only nine seats available.

2015 marks the Centenary of the Women’s Institute, and many special events are taking place around the country to celebrate this milestone. On Saturday 19th September, about 60 local ladies (accompanied by a few gentlemen) came to Woody Bay Station to take a nostalgic ride on the train.
