From Barnstaple on a Class143 Pacer to Exeter, then to Plymouth on a new IET Class 802.

1. After a short break at Mutley Plain, Plymouth we sampled Stagecoach route 1 bus across south western Dartmoor to Tavistock.

From Barnstaple to Exeter then a quick trip up to Tiverton Parkway first for a nice cuppa from the friendly cafe.

1. This schedule allowed us to enjoy a southbound Cross Country HST back past Exeter as far Newton Abbot. Plenty of tables and room for everyone to sit together.

A smaller group enjoyed the annual trip to Looe today.

From Barnstaple to Exeter first, for a Class 802 IET all the way to Liskeard. The 10 car train was not busy and we easily found a table with window seats.

1. Alighting at Liskeard with the 802s coupled together.

Eleven of us made this trip, which due to the current engineering works around, was to include a diverted train.

Wednesday 24th January - Devon Group Mystery trip to.......?

Nine people signed up for this trip with only NigelThompson knowing our destinations!

1. Barnstaple to Exeter, then up to Tiverton Parkway first for a nice cup of tea/coffee from the buffet.

Wednesday 12th December

Up to 19 Trust members and volunteers enjoyed today's rail trip to various hostelries in Exmouth, Crediton, Newton Abbot and Newton St Cyres.

Devon Group Rail trip to Plymouth, Calstock and Gunnislake Wednesday 14th November.

A good turnout of 11 regulars turned out for today's trip using the Devon Day Ranger ticket.

For the record most of us did Barnstaple-Exeter-Tiverton Parkway-Exeter-Plymouth--Calstock-Gunnislake-Plymouth-Exeter-Barnstaple.

Devon Group trip to South Devon Railway Wednesday 24th October

Twelve L&B Trust members enjoyed the half-term trip to Totnes and Buckfastleigh including a ride on the South Devon Railway.

Wed 26th September

A group of 11 L&B Trust members enjoyed a trip to Beer and Seaton in East Devon by train from Barnstaple to Exeter and then on to Axminster and then bus via Seaton to Beer, Pecorama.

The Lynton & Barnstaple Railway and Exmoor Associates attended the Combe Rail Model Railway Exhibition at the Landmark Theatre Ilfracombe on Saturday 8th September.
