On Sunday June 10th volunteers from the L&B helped the organisers of the Lyn Valley Classic - North Devon's biggest car show - by laying out and operating their Park and Ride service in Lynton. It was the perfect opportunity to support our local community, and promote our railway . Over 400 visitors used the P&R  and received copies of our own timetable as well as that for the main event.

We made a great impression and helped Lynton  & Lynmouth run one of their most successful shows ever.

One of our members, Andrew Lowe, recently sent this message together with some photos taken during an organised visit to Boston Lodge:

"Last Saturday 9th June I enjoyed an excellent day on the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway travelling on the Snowdonian Limited with two other L&B Trust members Robert and Heather Cross. On the Friday evening we were given a tour of Boston Lodge works, and saw the progress with the frames for L&B carriage No.5. Here are three pictures that members may be interested in seeing."
