The assembly of LYN continues to progress well at Alan Keef's. Phil at Alan Keef's has sent Mike Nelson some photos of the build to date. Here to whet your appetite is a view of LYN's chassis with wheels and RH coupling rod fitted.
With regular reporter Nigel Thompson away this week and Roger Bye just back from a holiday, after a long break from producing an L&B report, Dave Bloomfield has very kindly taken the plunge.
On Sunday 3rd July between 11am and 5pm , seven gardens including Heddon Hall were open to the public with all proceeds going to the Friends of Calvert Trust.
The L&BR agreed to donate half the rail fares from Sunday 3rd July. Railway Company Finance Director Ian Cowling, has subsequently handed a cheque for £323.00 to the the Friends of Calvert Trust
