NWAG Meeting – Saturday 8th April 2017

The next meeting of the North West group of the L&B will take place on Saturday 8th April 2017 at our usual venue, the Friends Meeting House, 6 Mount Street, Manchester M2 5NS, from 1400 to 1600.

We intend that the middle hour or so of the meeting will be a Skype video link with L&B Company Director and longstanding L&B historian Keith Vingoe, who has kindly agreed to update us, from his home in deepest Cornwall.

Keith and I just tested the Skype link. It worked well, and we spent an hour talking over the sort of topics that might come up on Saturday. I am certain it will prove to be an informative session.

Now all we need is your attendance, with some questions to get the discussion going…

Before/after that session, we will discuss forthcoming NW events, and see a few pictures of our group’s presence at Rainford last weekend. I also have some new pictures of four different heritage railways in Australia, if there is any spare time to show them.

We hope to see members from the North West there for this experiment in how we can become better-informed about the progress our railway is making.
