Carriage Workshop Update

August 29th 2018: The latest report from Colchester

As you can see we are trying a "modular" construction method this time so that each section will already have its seats internal and external panelling installed prior to fitting onto the underframe.

1. Tony Ely is seen with the centre of the two 1st Class compartments.

2. David Gandell and Richard Waddeson working on the 3rd Class sections.

3.& 4. two photos of an original and a replica roof lamp plug and holder. Just to show that not all original parts that we restore are made of wood.
