Work in Progress - Thursday 29th October

The unseasonally mild, dry weather for half term week produced some healthy loadings on the trains this week, helping to further boost the 2009 passenger figures. Steam locomotive SID was running with three carriages.

The Thursday gang volunteers were detailed to work in the shed today continuing the clearance of surplus and scrap equipment as part of the general tidy up there.

6. Two work benches have been repositioned at the rear of the shed enabling work to carry on when all the locos and carriages are 'on shed'.

8. After completing todays work the this area of the shed looks better. The platform seat is ungoing a repair/repaint.
