Work in Progress: Thursday 19th March

Roadworks TriangleLast trains.......for a while!

Nigel Thompson once again provides us with this week's report.

"Due to the Coronavirus global crisis - in-line with many local and national visitor attractions - the L&BR closed to the general public at the end of today."

1. The Paint Shop Boys all sat in different compartments in Carriage No.11 for their 11am coffee break.

2. Dave Bloomfield too found a sole compartment to self isolate in the same carriage.

3. LYN departs from a wet Woody Bay. Earlier, two Shearings Coaches arrived helping to boost today's visitor numbers.

4. Driver Graham Bridge on the driver's side.

5. Fireman Malcolm Smith on the fireman's side.

6. At a very wet and drizzly Woody Bay, Guard Chris Shields.

7. LYN at Killington Lane with our last train for a while.

8. Your reporter Nigel Thompson enjoying a ride. Probably his last train ride anywhere for quite some time.
