Bright, sunny weather assisted with the ongoing preparations for the Autumn Gala. With SID newly arrived and work required to prepare her for the Gala there is still plenty to keep everyone fully occupied.

1. Lunchtime outside the shed with train crew, AXE and HEDDON HALL resting between duties.

2. Enjoying the lunchtime sunshine, Guard Jim Price, Driver Robin Edwards, and Fireman Will Curry.

3. SID awaits boiler cladding and couplings ready for the Gala.

4. Norfolk member Ian Dinmore helps Nigel Thompson to repaint the ex-MOD bogie flat.
