1. The L&BR's back-up steam locomotive, Maffei 0-4-0WT SID, was in steam today on the passenger train whilst AXE is undergoing routine maintenance. SID awaits to leave a windy Woody Bay with an afternoon service.

2. Guard Richard Drewer ensures the doors are all closed after the ticket check before departure.

3. Hunslet diesel HEDDON HALL seen during a shunting move by the loading dock.

4. In the shed more work on ex-MoD Box Van No.62 as John O'Dell fits a replacement wood panel to one of the doors.

5. John O'Dell and Dave Bloomfield were assisted today by new volunteer Alan Beer (right) during their work on the box van.

6. Your photographer worked on more cleaning up and paint removal from the roof of the telephone box. The gloves and tools are seen during the break to take these pictures for the report.
