1. Michael Ordway, a volunteer visiting from Birmingham, is helping out as assistant guard this week
2. Graham Varney about to resume cutting up old pallets for use in lighting the steam locomotives each day.
3. Nigel Spencer painting again, whilst ISAAC awaits another busy train departure.
4. Lots going on in the shed; Jim Price continues restoration work on the beading around the frame of a replacement display board to highlight the railway's extension plans...
5. ... while Roger Bye and Martin Williams fix sealant on the brake van, prior to repainting. The van will be in service next week for a footplate experience day, so it's all hands on deck to finish off the refurbishment and repainting.

6.Jim Pounds works on one end. The newly-installed piping is for the vacuum braking system.
7. Later, after Nigel T. had painted the pipework and solebar end black, Martyn Budd and Roger Bye paint a red oxide primer over the ends of the van.
8. Martin and Jim then painted the sides with grey undercoat.

9. One of Dave Evans' many recent projects has been working with Richard Whiteman inside the ex SR concrete shed by the signal cabin.
10. Dave has been fitting a linoleum top to the shelf which will house the tablet instruments.
11. At 15:00 on Thursdays, everyone stops and gathers in the tea room marquee for tea and cakes, kindly supplied by the catering staff.
12. Still time for some odd jobs, as Martin, Jim and Roger install the latest sign to help advertise and encourage visitors to use the woodlands, and spend more time appreciating the delights of Woody Bay station and its environs.
