Work in Progress: 4th September

Indian Summer weather!

Only a brief Woody Bay report from Nigel this week as he had to relocate to Chelfham to help John Mack Smith with laying platform edging bricks! A Chelfham report will follow soon.

1. Great weather today for everyone at Woody Bay as ISAAC arrives with the passenger train.

2. Driver today was the railway's engineer John Uphill as he moves ISAAC off the train towards the shed.

3. In the shed, Nigel Spencer takes a turn at cleaning up the stored railings fence panels.

4. Dave Evans, taking a break from his regular Guard duties, joined the outdoor Thursday gang to assist in todays project by the sewage treatment plant.

5. "Caption Competition" - Suggestions invited as the gang dig a hole by the sewage treatment plant!

6. The gang had been tasked with some hole digging to reveal a pipe to carry out repairs to the plant.

7. The pipe that we were working on now repaired.

8. ISAAC waiting to take out the last train.
