Work in Progress: 28th April

Work continued today on the various projects underway:
    • up platform railings fence derusting and repainting
    • ex-MoD Brake Van restoration
    • up starter signal refurbishment
    • and the fishplate oiling and greasing along the line........
 1. Sunny weather half way along the line as Richard, Jim and Dave work on the fishplate greasing programme.
 
2. AXE with the train seen on location.
 
3. The gang stand aside as AXE approaches again.
 
4. AXE passes the fishplate greasing progress alongside the beech trees.
 
5. An audience of a herd of bullocks in the neighbouring field watch on curiously while the team works on a rail joint.
 
6. Richard, Dave and Jim progress along the line enjoying the scenic views of Exmoor.
7. Another view of AXE with a train for Woody Bay, in the afternoon.
