Just a few views this week from during the misty conditions at Woody Bay as further work preparations for the coming operating season continued.
1. John Villers tidying up the limestone chippings alongside the new channel drain recently installed by the station building (road side).
2. After some landscaping and repositioning of an earth bank this week, young trees are replanted to form a new hedge.
3. The surplus soil was taken across the track and dropped into the woodland area to be built up to form a sloping pathway. John Heys plants more new trees along the edge of this new path.
4. On the platform Jim Price and Martin Andrews re-assemble a platform seat after new wooden slats were prepared and painted.
5. Just one train movement today as driver Pete Williams poses with HEDDON HALL and a bogie flat wagon during the shunt.
