The week before Christmas!

With General Manager Martyn Budd away helping Santa on the Isle of Wight this week, the Thursday Gang knew what to do - more sleepers!

1. - 6. A selection of views showing sleeper replacement underway. This group of photos were taken by Graham Rust.

7. Back at Woody Bay, Nigel Spencer continues to repaint of the railings near to Santa's Grotto.

8. Barrie Cann at work on the brake end of Carriage No.17.

9. Jim Pounds painting - viewed across the luggage compartment.

10. Progress with PILTON. The vacuum brake pipe and hose have now been attached to the Barnstaple end.

11. & 12. Lunchtime: a packed Mess Room with festive cakes and sweets on offer today.
