Work in Progress - 12 September: Surrey comes to Devon

Phil Rawstron, Nick Brown and Peter Jones of the L&BR Trust Surrey Group travelled down to Devon this weekend to begin a working week assisting in the Gala preparations.
 
Their main job today was to begin constructing and painting several large wooden board signs which will be used at Woody Bay and the park and rides at Caffyns and Blackmoor Gate for the Gala.
 
Nigel Thompson (back from holiday in Ireland and North Wales) was on hand to record this active area group at work in the shed.
 
1. Nick, Peter and Phil in the shed's workshop sorting the wood about ready for the signs.
2. Hard at work: Phil sands down the edges, Nick cuts the batons to length and Peter paints wood primer on the boards.
