Although a damp overcast weekend, much ale was consumed at the Beer Festival. For the record the following beers were on offer:
Wizard Lundy Gold
Clearwater Cavalier
Country Life Old Appledore
Cotleigh Tawny Owl
Teignworthy Amys Ale
Teignworthy Strawberries & Cream.
with Wizard Lundy Gold emerging as the favourite tipple. Teignworthy Strawberries & Cream was also well received.
Thanks to June, Martin and Toby from the Sea Cadets for all their help over the weeked and also to Pete and Julia Snashell who came all the way from Kent to man (or should that be person!) the beer pumps.
On Sunday evening about 50 staff and active volunteers joined Trustees and Directors for a free barbecue. With a suitably trousered Eddie Mills as Chef and Robin and Angela Horne and Ann Mills undertaking all other duties a good time was had by all.
