Winter Draw

Thanks to all of you who supported the Winter Draw which this year was managed by one of our unsung heroes, Mike Smale.

Group Visits

Also taking place this weekend were three group visits.

The 1st on Saturday was a  childrens tea party and the children apparently had a fantastic time!

Some of the treats produced by our Catering Manager Judy Williams.

Also on Saturday a coach party from Johnson's Coaches from Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire travelled on the last train and enjoyed cream, teas. They wanted to know when we intended to rebuild it properly with standard gauge track!  A chat about the railway from Trust Chairman Peter Miles laid that  rumour to rest.

On Sunday the Ifracombe Diabetic Group arrived for what has become their annual New years Day treat - a visit to Woody Bay Station where they not only enjoy a train ride but also home-made pasties and lashings of tea.

2012 Photographic Competition

The L&B Photo competition is now underway. Closing date for this year will be March 31st. This is necessary to meet the deadlines required to get the calendar on sale for the summer season.
