Tour of Britain - 11th Sept

The UK’s leading professional cycle race, The Tour of Britain, is passing though Exmoor on Tuesday 11 September and is set to be an exciting day for participants and spectators alike.

The Tour of Britain has placed itself on a global platform alongside major races such as The Tour de France and Giro d’Italia by attracting a combination of national and international teams.

For those of you heading to Lynmouth to watch the Race, please use the Park and Ride service operating from Blackmoor Gate to Lynmouth. This service will call at Woody Bay Station in both directions.

Lynmouth - The Village will be one of the most exciting areas to watch the race. Activities include a fayre, including wood carving, an impressive stunt show, bike demos, three live bands and Lantern FM will be present. Activities will take place on the Manor Green and in the village itself.

Woody Bay Station - Steam train rides will be available throughout the day. If using the park & ride bus, make sure you include a stop off at the railway and get a train ride too!
