Sunday 7th September: SPECIAL REPORT

Today's glorious weather certainly brought out a large numbers of visitors - ironically on the last day of the Summer Timetable.*

Amongst our visitors today were two large parties of motorcyclists - over 100 motorcycles with their riders coming in for tea, cake and other goodies. Thankfully they had booked in advance!

1, 2, 3. The car park was quite a sight, bikes where parked everywhere,
with an estimated collective value of over half a million pounds!

4. Carol-Anne and Toby were kept busy making drinks for the many visiting motorcyclists.

5. Bikers enjoying the hospitality ay Woody Bay.

This unusually large number of visitors to the refreshment tent resulted in above-average takings in the Tea Rooms for the day - a fantastic result.

Catering Manager Judy Williams and her team were equal to the task, and all went away happy.
