South East Area Groups Meeting, 30th May 2015

This year's meeting will be held on Saturday 30th May 2015 at:

Woking Miniature Railway (Mizens Railway),
Barrs Lane,
Knaphill,
Surrey
GU21 2JW

Between 12 noon and 1.30pm BBQ lunches and train rides will be offered on the extensive Mizens Railway 7¼" gauge railway, hopefully hauled by L&B steam loco 'YEO' built by the late L&BR Trust member David Bradbury.

The formal meeting commencing at 2pm will comprise a number of separate presentations, each followed by a Q&A session, including:-

• L&BR Trust with a news update from Woody Bay, encompassing the progress & plans for Exmoor Enterprise (L&BR Trust Chairman Peter Miles);
• EAST news of the L&B Heritage Coach restorations (L&BR Trustee Peter Snashall);
• 762 Club progress with 'LYN' (L&BR Trust Chairman Peter Miles);and
• Exmoor Associates news of their efforts to procure trackbed for Phase 3 (EA Chairman Mike Buse).

Attendance at the event will be FREE OF CHARGE and all members of the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway Trust are invited to attend this event. Other enthusiasts who would like to become members of the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway Trust are also invited to attend as we will be able to accept your Membership Application on the day.

There is ample FREE parking available within the grounds.
