Remembrance Day at Woody Bay Station

The children of Lynton and Parracombe Schools came to Woody Bay on Tuesday for the annual Remembrance Day service.

1. The acting vicar of Lynton the Rev. Jean Loveday conducted the service - as AXE gently simmers.

2. After the two minutes' silence the children planted wooden crosses in the Garden of Remembrance at the Station The crosses were marked with the names of local men who had fallen in the two world wars.
