Recent Donations

This just in from the L&B Treasury

This month The Trust has received several sizeable donations running into thousands  These most generous benefactors have been appropriately thanked both personally and individually. This is particularly pleasing and we thank you all for your continued support of our reinstatement of this beautiful and legendary railway.

April being the month when the majority of L&BR Trust memberships are renewed, this month is as you can imagine extremely hectic for both Trust Membership Secretary Ian Cowling and me Trust Treasurer Martin Swainson.

Members will be pleased to know that all the Direct Debits have now been processed and the Gift Aid Schedule prepared and sent to HMRC - the amount of Gift Aid recovered being £4,407.

Last, but by no means least, the Thames Valley Group has sent me a cheque for £500 to be put towards the work being carried out on the heritage rolling stock at Pilton East.
