Trevor Garnham has just sent us these photos of the May Gala

4. ISAAC with a mixed train of one carriage and a bogie coal wagon. Although mixed trains have been run previously - most notable during the Autumn Gala of 2013 with the air-braked Thorpe Park coaches - this was the first time since September 1935 that a mixed train was operated using vacuum brakes.
