Lyd in Steam

Followers of Project Lyd - the building of a replica of Lew, the last of the L&B's original locomotives will know that the locomotive was steamed for the firstt ime yesterdayat Boston Lodge on the Ffestiniog Railway. Trevor Garnham was there and provided this historic image.

Lyd was built to operate on the Welsh Highland Railway, but is intending to visit Launceston in Cornwall during the summer, and Woody Bay for our own Autumn Gala.

All we need now is for a little extra cash to build our own Manning Wardle or four, and also of course no 762 ...
