Improvements to the Paint Shop at Woody Bay: January 2022

See the 3 photographs below that depict the improvements made to the railway's paint shop facility at Woody Bay, which includes:

• The concrete floor within the shed has been leveled and extended;
• New metal and wooden doors have been fitted to replace the old curtain;
• A small drain has been provided at the far end; and
• Electrical power sockets and lights have been moved as required.

Finally, the area was given a good tidy up.

Hopefully these improvements will aid the working conditions within the paint shop.

The first coach into the improved facility is coach 16. It was taken in around a fortnight ago and the first working party was held last Tuesday.
