Higher Bodley Farm trackbed secured for L&B

Exmoor Associates has announced, in the latest edition of their shareholders' Newsletter, Trackbed Trails, that having completed the last of the formalities, the trackbed through Higher Bodley Farm is now  owned by Exmoor Associates and thus secured for the next extension of the L&B from Killington Lane towards Parracombe.

Congratulations to Mike Buse and the negotiating team, as well as to the EA shareholders who have raised the additional funds needed to complete what ended up as a complicated three-way land-swap deal.

Although under new ownership, this land will continue to be farmed by the Rawle family until the railway is ready to reinstate the track.  It is therefore not generally accessible to members, shareholders or the general public.
