The weather was again perfect for the second day of the L&B Autumn Gala and Nigel Thompson was able to provide a further photo-commentary:
1. A busy day and even the overflow car park field was well used.
2, 3, 4, 5. A highlight of the day was loco SID, fresh from overhaul, running in with a demonstration freight train using newly refurbished and repainted ex-MOD bogie wagons SR Nos. 28320 and 28321. Here is a few views as the freight train is shunted along the line and through the station.
7. CME Stuart Wells with his model traction steam engine running in the car park.
8. Visiting engine OTTER from the BHLR at Pecorama on the 7.25"garden railway.
9. OTTER and its train passes the upper lawn.

10. The Barbecue does a roaring trade ....
11. .... as the Children's entertainer displays his magic to the interested audience.

12. AXE at Killington Lane with the volunteers and exhibitors special.
13. Various L&B volunteers in composite coach 3 awaiting the return to Woody Bay.
