First Twitter, now Facebook

In March,The L&B became one of the first Heritage Railways to have its own dedicated page on Twitter.  This has proven to be fairly successful, and has attracted a number of new enthusiasts to the railway. 

There is also a group on Facebook dedicated to the L&B: There's not much on there at the moment, but along with a few familiar names are a number of new faces, which can only be good news.  if you use Facebook, please feel free to join, the group, and even contribute your own news!

Both these "social networking" sites appeal generally to younger people, so should help encourage younger enthusiasts to get involved with the L&B.

However, just because you're not in the first flush of youth does not mean that you cannot join in too!
