Easter Monday Photos

Nigel Thompson was at Woody Bay today to witness some of the volunteers at work, both serving our visitors, and improving the railway.  He was also there to check his Spring Draw tickets...

2. Trainee fireman Martin Mansfield, Driver Eddie Mills, and Guard Steve Ball .

3. Ron Eddey in charge of the shop at Woody Bay today.

4. Kim and Ian Cowling were catering for the Easter visitors.

5. Christine and Alex Pickersgill, who managed the L&BR Trust's Spring Prize Draw stand in front of the newly commissioned Down Starter signal.

6. Managing Director Keith Vingoe (centre) draws the winning ticket from the sack.

Many thanks to Christine and Alex Pickersgill, who successfully managed this years draw, which has raised several thousand pounds for the L&BR Trust.

7. In the shed, the long out of service "weltrol" wagon was being modified to make it usable . Wooden decking was being fitted to the base of the frames.
