HOW TO FIND US
The club is based on Canvey Island, Essex and is easy to get to via road and rail links. Below is a map of where we are.
The first thing you come across on the Island (from all Road Routes) is a large roundabout called "Waterside Farm Roundabout". The clubs grounds are at the Sports Complex in Somnes Avenue which is first left at the roundabout from Benfleet, or second left from the A130, depending on your direction of travel. Look for the BIG RAILWAY SIGNAL on the right hand side of the road.
Benfleet Station also allows rail users to visit us and is 10 Mins walk away from the clubs grounds from arrival. The club encourages various types of model engineering, although, due to common interest it is mainly miniature railway orientated hence the comprehensive layout on the clubs grounds. The club sports an impressive 4400 feet of 7.25" ground level track (part of which caters for 5" gauge) and 1440 feet of raised level track, offering drivers of 5" & 3.5" engines plenty of track to stretch their engines "coupling rods".
