Update on 12th February

Chelfham latest and dusk pictures.

There has been further progress along the 'Up' platform surface. In front of the rebuilt Gents building, the platform has now been covered with a layer of road planings to match the rest of the up platform, which was restored last year. The surface was compacted down smooth by Chris Lane using a hired in whacker plate.....

Also beyond the container, another laying of road planings has been laid here right to the end of the ramp. An original concrete drain channel has been preserved.....

After staying late on-site, I took the opportunity to photograph the station at dusk with all the lights on. A bicycle lamp was used to light the 'Up' starter signal.....
