Call for exhibition volunteers - all areas!

The L&B Devon Group is attending several larger model and railway modelling exhibitions with our L & B Sales stall this year. 

We need volunteers to help run these stalls.

We are also looking for photographs that we can display on the stand that simply sum up the L&B Railway to members of the public.  We plan to enlarge them to about A3 so they would need to be reasonably high quality.  If you have any that you think might help please contact Martin at the email address below.

The events we have organised so far for 2009 are:

18/19 APRIL 2009

'South West Model Engineering Exhibition' at Shepton Mallet on Saturday/Sunday 18th and 19th April (www.swmee.co.uk/index.asp);

30/31 MAY 2009

'Exe Model Railway Society Annual Exhibition' in Exeter Matford Centre on Saturday/Sunday 30th and 31st May (www.exemrs.co.uk/exhibition.htm)

24 OCTOBER 2009

'Exeter Garden Railway Show' again in Exeter Matford Centre on Saturday 24th October (www.exetergardenrailwayshow.com/).

Our presence at events such as these is important partly because of the much-needed sales revenue they generate but mostly because we spread news of the L & B to the wider public. 

We need four volunteers for each day of these events, so if you are interested please contact Martin Andrews via Woody Bay Station or by email.
