Bridge 67 Siding Cleared

This weeks Thursday work party carried out a successful movement of the unfinished well wagon which had been stored on the truncated remains of the engineers siding near Bridge 67 since early 2006. The wagon is now stabled in the middle siding up against the buffer stop at Killington Lane.

The operation was carried out by the regular team aided by some excellent sunny weather on Exmoor and now sees the complete clearance of the old siding at bridge 67. The site is gradually being cleared as part of the winter track maintenance schedule this winter, ready for realignment of the adjacent running line in January.
