Boxing Day at Chelfham 2021

Sunday 26th December 2021

Taking a break from their respective festivities, the Chelfham volunteers resumed some work today, even though it was Boxing Day.

With unseasonably mild and almost sunny weather at times, the gang is seen above enjoying their afternoon tea and mince pies outside on the down platform. Seated left to right, are Nigel, Graham, Chris, and Andy.

Work parties and open days (station site outside only if future government restrictions come into force next year) continue every Sunday and Wednesday throughout the winter.

A future report will detail the latest projects currently underway.
