Bill Flecknoe RIP

We have just been advised of the death of yet another of our long-standing working volunteers - Bill Flecknoe who he had been ill for some months, but was only diagnosed as having motor neurone disease right at the end.

His funeral will take place at Barnstaple Crematorium, Friday 11th July at 11-40 am. Our thoughts are with his family at this time time.

Bill played a very active role as a diesel driver, steam loco fireman and guard. When not engaged in one of these roles he would undertake anything required, including painting anything that needed it and acting as one of our regular Santa's.

He will be much missed by his friends and colleagues on the L&B.
