Barnstaple Train Show 2011

Held at Yeo Valley School, Derby Road, Barnstaple on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th August 2011, the show was opened by local wildlife film maker and celebrity, Johnny Kingdom.


As well as model railway layouts in scales from 2mm to 16mm to the foot, there were model trade suppliers, a wide range of local craft and similar stalls, a 100% prize-winning tombola, with prizes donated by local businesses and individuals, The Fire Brigade, St Johns Ambulance, ice creams, hot and cold drinks ...

Organised and supported by local L&B supporters, and those from further afield (some brought their layouts from the Isle of Wight) all proceeds from the show are going towards the L&BR Trust's plans for extending the line.
