Another bright sunny day and a variety of jobs underway for the regular Thursday Group volunteers.....
1. During the week the recently regauged ex MOD flat No.51 was fitted out with the weedkilling tanks and apparatus. Before opening today HEDDON HALL worked a weedkilling trip down the line.

2. Dave Drayson and Len Howse continue the project of derusting and repainting the up platform railings fence whilst driver Robin Edwards finds another fence to lean on!

3. Robin oils round AXE whilst awaiting another departure.

4. Jim Price enjoys the fireman role once again.

5. Guard Martin Andrews chats to a couple of First Class passengers.......

6. ....before posing by a repainted Coach 1 now back in service.

7. After completing painting the point rodding, Dick Gunn turns his attention to a refurbishment of the up starter signal on the platform at Woody Bay.

8. The p.w. gang of Jim, Dave, Graham and John have worked down the line continuing the fishplate oiling programme and are now about to walk back to Woody Bay for a well earned drink and ice cream.
