Sid joins Axe at Woody Bay!

In preparation for next week's Autumn Gala, Axe has been joined at Woody Bay by Sid - 0-4-0WT Maffei loco no 4127 built in 1925 - owned by a conglomerate of L&B Trust members.

Sid first arrived at Woody Bay in August 2007. After handling the bulk of steam train operation in 2007/08 Sid was withdrawn from service a year later for overhaul of cylinders, wheels and boiler.
