For the run up to the Christmas period lunch about 15 locally based L&B Trust members and volunteers travelled to Plymouth for a Wetherspoons meal at The Union Rooms.
1. Aboard the Cross-Country HST from Exeter to Plymouth.
2. & 3. Lunch at the Union Rooms, Plymouth.

6. Time for a walk on the Hoe.....
7. .....and a visit to Sir Francis Drake's statue before heading home.

This time a rail trip around Devon:
Barnstaple - Tiverton Parkway - Totnes - Newton Abbot - Teignmouth - Exmouth - Honiton - Barnstaple
1. Totnes Signal Box Cafe - Dave's Payne-Hilton, Blencowe and Drayson with their soft drinks!
2. About to catch this Cross-Country Voyager back from Totnes.
3. First drink of the day at Platform 5 pub by Newton Abbot station.
4. Lunch was at Teignmouth Wetherspoons, before some of us had cream cakes before the next train.
5. A quick stop at Exmouth to pose by the Class 143 Pacer.
6. Another pub stop. This time it is the Globe at Lympstone.
Afterwards it was back to Exeter, then another trip out to Honiton (No time to visit a pub or cafe here!)
Cost of this trip (approximately 220 miles) was just £6.60 using the Devon Day Ranger ticket
