Thank you for your interest in the funding for the acquisition of the Old Station House Inn at Blackmoor Gate as part of the next stage of the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway restoration.

The Financial Conduct Authority have regulations regarding the promotion of shares, bonds and debentures that are not listed on a recognised stock exchange, or cannot readily be sold or converted to cash. Before you can apply for shares, we need to ask you to declare what kind of investor you are and check that you understand the nature of investment you are considering and the risks involved.

The next step is to complete an Investor Certification Document.

This process should only take a few minutes.

Investors who complete the process are being offered shares in the L&B Blackmoor Company plc, which was formed with the intention that it will acquire and run the Old Station House Inn. The Inn was formerly Blackmoor Station and, should it be acquired, the plan is to continue operating the premises as a restaurant and pub.

Over time it is intended that the existing railway (running from Woody Bay to Killington Lane) will be extended to reinstate the historic railway line as closely as possible to its previous route, and link Blackmoor Station to the other restored stations on the line.

Investors in the Offer will be supporting the Trust’s plan to reinstate an iconic heritage steam railway and the wider heritage railway movement.

The minimum subscription amount for shares in the Offer is £500 and thereafter in multiples of £100.

Investments of this nature carry risks to your capital, as well as potential rewards.

For anyone who decides not to invest in this Company, but who still want to help in the restoration of the Railway, do please remember that the Trust gratefully welcomes any donations and details as to how make them are on the Railway homepage

Approved as a financial promotion by the law firm Bates Wells & Braithwaite London LLP, a firm authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (registered FCA number 466148).
